Easter Day...

First of all, how beautiful is this baby? Just look at her, isn't she the prettiest little thing ever?!
This is Roscoe (formerly mentioned on an earlier blog post) my Niece Nicole's baby. She is 4 months old and she's so tiny. She is wearing a sleeper that was Tucker's when he was a teeny tiny baby.

And now that Tucker is 8, it's hard to even imagine that he was ever that small. Tucker had many, many Easter eggs to find. This year he sported his fire engine basket for holding all of his eggs.

This is the first year that I have seen this stuff. It is edible grass, well at least that's what the package says...it's made from corn and potato starch, not grass-tastic like the package says. I saw it in at least 5 different colors. I bought some because I thought it would be the perfect thing to use for whiskers.

This is the wacky rabbit cake that we made for Easter. My sisters and I used to make this yearly when I was younger, I don't think I've made one of these since I was 12. The whiskers were a great addition I think. I bought some extra grass because I am imagining some at cupcakes at some later date...like maybe Halloween!

I think that "edible grass" will still taste the same next year so save it up!! Great for decor, not for eating, despite the label.

Yes, Roscoe is ever so cute!! And I think Samantha had the same little yellow/ducky outfit as well!!

Look at all that hair! She is absolutely precious! I've never heard of edible grass...hmmm...not sure that it even sounds like it would be very good. But they did make the perfect whiskers for that cute bunny cake. ; )

Jennifer, I too, used to make this cake and almost made it this year with Chandler. After seeing yours next year is a must make for us!
