When I Grow Up...

That was the theme at Tucker's Cub Scout Blue & Gold Dinner. Each Cubbie was supposed to bring a cake decorated with the theme. And if you know Tucker, this will not be a surprise...he wants to be a Monster Truck Driver. Tucker looked at cake on the internet and decided this is how he wanted it. All his design~I just put it together for him, not the trucks or smashed up cars just the cake.


The cake was actually really tasty. The bottom layer was chocolate and the top half layer and the ramp was yellow cake. I used some creepy chocolate frosting that comes in a plastic thing as the glue between the layers. I made some of my own chocolate frosting that was waaaaaaaay mo' better than the store bought stuff. The fun part was throwing on the chocolate chips, broken up butterfingers, chocolate sprinkles, and a few shakes of cocoa powder for dirt. It did look like they were driving around on a big hill of mud with rocks and dirt everywhere. I am really getting into this whole cake makin' thing, it's kinda fun.
