The best "Hide & Seek" players hide in broad daylight...

~or maybe they're the worst Hide & Seek players ever~ I can't decide.
First off, the two of them shouldn't hide together, it's a dead giveaway. Then they try and hide the suitcase too, but not the pitchfork...I mean come on!

Here are photos of moving day to Downtown Mesa for the American Gothic couple.

Pieces and parts.

This was a photo of them about mid-way, mid-way....get it? I thought it was the funniest thing when I walked down the street to snap a photo and this is what I saw when I got close enough to the corner.

The sculptor J. Seward Johnson did such a great job on this. It's amazing~ just the painted detailing alone is so incredible. It literally is Grant Wood's American Gothic painting in 3-D.
I was lucky enough to be able to get this close to take a picture of the paint detail...

Here they are in their 25 foot tall glory. Cool huh?

Here is the real paining that's at the Art Institute of Chicago Grant Wood's American Gothic. He entered a contest at the museum and won $300 for his painting.

Here are the two that posed for his painting. His sister Nan and his Dentist!

If he was my dentist I think I'd laugh through my whole dental appointment!
Come Downtown and check out this amazing sculpture, it's here through July 15th. You won't miss it, it's HUGE!
