Christmas Obsessions...

Each year for the last 17, I have made paid homage to the local Hallmark store to buy my Barbie ornament. Once you start, you can't really stop now can ya? So...yes, I do have all 17...so far.

My other obsession is the little Knee Hugger Elves that I have loved since I was a tiny believer in Santa person. I do still have mine from the 60's, I think it's my little thing that is connected to my very earliest of Christmas memories. Due to that evil website known as Ebay, I now have more then my fair share of them now. I only like the cute ones, not the evil ones! This little guy is like the elves that I have and has the exact same face as mine from my childhood. Love him!

The last ATC Swap at Mystic Paper was "Santa's Little Helper" and I came up with this little elf AND I also self proclaimed myself a genius. I figured out how to make his little body out of one rectangular piece of felt. You can also pull his legs out from under his arms.

I know I am a dork, but don't you just love him?

I am officially addicted...

I LOVE PAPERCLAY!

Here is another one of my little guys. This one is more traditional, with a carrot nose, felt scarf, and top hat. I made this for the family that is hosting my child this week at their house with all their fun events like Zoo Lights...but I kinda want to keep him~ he is just so stinkin' cute.

Snow Pixie...

From last Saturday's class at Mystic Paper with Jenny Hernandez, aka The Polka Dot Pixie.
I couldn't help putting a carrot nose on mine, so I guess that makes him a snowman instead of a snow pixie. I love the sparklies that Jenny supplied for us, it's nice and flat and old fashioned.
