I would have to say, I recognized the ears!
This photo I received yesterday from a distant cousin.
These are my Great Great Grand Parents~
Elijah John Wyatt born in 1815 in Tennessee and died in Arkansas in 1889.
His lovely bride is Adeline Amanda McClannahan born in 1821 in Tennessee and died in Arkansas in 1894.
From what I can tell from Tennessee census 1830's and 1840's is that the Wyatt's and McClanahan's lived close to each other and another Wyatt/McClanahan couple exists as well!
So that makes it even more difficult to keep the facts straight.
This makes me wonder why they were posing for this picture and where they were.
Elijah totally looks like my dad. The ears, and those eyes, they look blue to me, but I could be wrong. So this is where all the leads end.
Nobody on the genealogy message boards or ancestry.com has any further information that I can tell is correct. I have been working on some theories, but now I guess I have to go to places like Arkansas and Tennessee to dig in the state archives for any more info.
Road trip anyone?

I'm going to have to dig up stuff on my side of the Wyatt family. I have a few pictures so maybe we could piece together the puzzle. I have more information pre-1700 than after. lol I live in Texas, where are ya'll from?
You can't get away with the Wyatt ears or the Callaghan nose.
